Handwoven Indian Suzanis
Cotton Suzani – One of a Kind (1.5m x 2.2m)
Each of our suzanis is a singular textile artwork—no repeats, no mass production, just individual pieces shaped by the hands and rhythm of skilled artisans. Crafted from a breathable cotton base fabric and finished with richly textured embroidery, these pieces bring depth, softness, and story into a space.
The Maker’s Process
Each piece begins with a cotton base cloth, onto which artisans map out organic, free-flowing motifs—often inspired by flora, nature, and traditional Indian patterns.
The embroidery is then built stitch by stitch using thick cotton yarns, creating a raised, almost sculptural surface. This process is slow and highly skilled; slight irregularities in pattern and texture are not flaws but signatures of the maker’s hand. Depending on complexity, a single piece can take many days to complete.
